Hi all,
you`ll be pleased to know (I hope!) that the SRX (special) passed its MOT today
so there is no real need for me to carry on with this thread. I will post a final photo tomorrow of it in its finished state (although I have still got a few very minor tasks to complete on it- I still havent got a decent headlamp ring although this may be found at Stafford later this month). I would like to thank all of you who commented and helped in any small way towards my project. I did think at various stages that this wouldnt get completed but I think I surprised myself with my own determination at times. I hope everyone who sees the bike will like it and hopefully it may encourage others to either start one or even pick up the pieces on their own projects and finish them off. The list of people who helped is far too long to list but if anyone needs help with a similar project please get in touch. The folder I have on mine is bulging with drawings,sketches and odd bits of paper and phone numbers contacts and other miscellaneous information. I would like to single out (ouch!) Alan (SRX6) for special mention as I dont think I would have got started without his help. I will still be here on the forums adding my own humour but I will be hopefully doing a bit of riding this summer either on the SRX or the Bonnie so my postings will be fewer I think.
