Marymotherofgod! I doubt it looked that clean on the production line  :o

I can't even imagine going to those lengths on a rebuild, but hats off to you.

It is the living room - where else do you rebuild...

Mind your garage was tidier and less cluttered thn the living room last time I was round - GC, two boys, Mrs GC must be the Virgin Mary's Little Sister....

Mind Mrs Rog is her big sister.

Due to no response to my request for left footrest, I decided to "restore" the rear sets to see how they looked/felt. Here are a few photos of the new bits I have done so far and also included a few "old" parts. As you can see I still have a few bits to repair/make but I think, once all polished up they wont look bad. Im having to do a bit of manipulation with the right hand one as the pin for the brake pedal is welded to the frame, and I didnt want to burn my bridges and saw it off, so I m having to modify the pedal angle to miss the original pivot pin. Im sure SRXers will understand what Im trying to say but for others I will assemble and take photos for those interested. I will have to do it next week now as Im off to (really chilly) Hamburg on Thursday with work till next Tuesday.
Ian :)
