...brake caliper pistons and seals??
About 3 years ago I rebuilt the rear brake caliper with new seals and just cleaned up the pistons. They weren't badly pitted.
I suspected that would be the last time that the bike needed a brake rebuild, as it was probably not long for this world. (It has subsequently had a new clutch, fork seals, front and rear pads, plenty oil, 2 pairs of tyres.... the fucker just will not die!!!)
Anyway I normally buy gen Suzi parts for things like this. Tho fuck knows why. Probably because its a slightly oddball model, imported, and the parts fit.
Does anyone know where to get pistons and seals??
Or am I paying thru the nose again?? To illustrate this, 2 seals and 2 dust seals last time was 24 quid, for 4 little bits of neoprene. My false economy of not replacing the pistons then has come back to haunt me! I would think pistons will be something daft like 15 quid each, meaning it will be another 60 quid to keep this (lovely, but knackered) old nail on the road.
