It's a home brewed 2 into one from the standard set up exiting on the left of the bike Michael!

Cheers Martin, least I'm lucky enough that it's got a full double garage and I'm going to slightly extend it to hopefully pop a lathe and pillar drill in there. Best of luck with the semi retirement/3 day week... 👍👍

Afternoon Matt... yes it will in actual area be a touch bigger than before once finished but since my accident I've peared down my bike collection and my good lady wife is quite insistent that her car is going in the new garage as well as my bikes and bike bench etc. That's why I'm taking the opportunity to extend it a touch so I can defo get a lathe and pillar drill in there which is what I always intended to do with where we are now. Going to be a lot of work to do this year but hopefully this time next year I shud av a cracking workshop 😁😁🔧🔩🏍

Got a cheap exhaust for the RS off Fleabay but still no time to investigate the seat lock but all advice gratefully taken on board.
I assume you have the seat hump removed off the seat? If you get someone to turn the key to the unlock position and yourself waddle the seat itself about, you will find it will release itself.

Just had to come back to this problem as i need to charge the battery.(Thank God for the old fashioned kick starter and de-compressor!) No matter what i do i can't seem to shift it. There's a massive gap between the seat and tail piece into which i can insert a screw driver etc but i can't seem to dislodge the lock mechanism whatever i do. I'm sure there's a knack to it which i obviously haven't got and no amount of wiggling, pushing or pulling on the seat seems to make any difference. I don't want to break anything so i am being as careful as i can! Thanks to all posters for advice to date!

Success!!!!!!!!!!!!I have tried a bit harder now .It helps if you can actually see! Put the bike in sunlight and noticed there is a catch on the lock mechanism which you can easily release with the blade of a screwdriver between the seat and rear bodywork. Only taken me nearly all of this year to work this out with help on here doh!
