I've done plenty of research Ian and the trouble is knowing what to believe. However, it's certainly true that what is presented as fact, ie. man made climate change, is certainly not a fact at all. There are far too many variables involved for even the most ambitious and up to date climate modeling software systems to predict the future, and indeed I don't think that any of them even agree with each other. The earth's climate has been in a constant state of change for 4 billion years.
I do think that its in mankind's best interest to look after the planet, but I object to the fact that if you challenge the acceptance of man made climate change, you're likely to get lynched by a baying mob.
Personally, I probably have a lower carbon footprint than most of the protesters. I've not owned a car for about 25 years, but instead have used bicycles and motorcycles as personal transport. If I'm on my own in the house and feel cold, I put a jumper on! I also only have 2 children and 2 grand children (and there won't be any more) so I haven't contributed to the population explosion which is the real issue facing the planet, but which environmentalists seem to be reluctant to point out for some reason.
And as for newspapers, I personally think the Victorians put them to the best use when they cut them into squares and hung them in the privy

. I haven't read one for well over 30 years, but if I was to read one for any reason, rest assured it wouldn't be the Daily Wail!
