Very sad news. Boyd was one of those characters that every club needs and he had a great dry sense of humour. He'll be missed by all of us.

I only met Boyd a few times - and never really got to know him. However, I know he was held in very high regard by all those who did. RIP

Very sad new !
RIP old fellow from France.
We exchanged some e-mails when I subscribed to the Thumper Club and he seemed, like many of you, a very friendly bloke

Nice idea Steve H

Sad news indeed.Condolences to his family and friends.I never met him but am sure he was a top guy. Speaking as someone who has only very recently had a prostate scare i can only endorse what others have said about getting yourself checked out.

I haven't logged on for a few days and just read this so so sad news. I am so shocked, it only seems like yesterday that Boyd and Martin were sat in my conservatory chatting and drinking tea. He was a gentleman and helped me on more than one occasion. This dreadful disease has no qualms about who it takes.  RIP Boyd and sincere condolences to his family

Very sad news indeed! Had the pleasure of reconnecting with Boyd and buying him a beer at this years National Rally at Beulah. He could not have been more cheerful. RIP Boyd.

Crikey - thanks for posting them.  The first of Boyd with Ivor was rather poignant.
Note to Self: Shiney side goes UP.
