ITV4 TT Coverage

I absolutely love the TT coverage on ITV4 the past few years. I think they've got it just right to hit all bases, ie. bike nuts and people with no bike knowledge. Craig Doyle does a great job, with three sound pundits in Steve Plater, Steve Parish, and Jamie Witham. What do the rest of you think?

It's no bad at all. However, if you would prefer something live and have internet access try this link:

Puts the live timing, used by the commentators, up on screen and you can also bring up the live commentary feed from Manx Radio by using the "Radio" icon at the bottom of the menu panel on the left hand side of the screen. Loads of other bits and info if you are techy or keen, but the commentary and timing screen followed by the 21:00pm ITV4 roundup are fine by me.

Just going to mention it but Bill beat me to it! Manx Radio TT do an excellent job covering the races and I also agree ITV4`s coverage is second to none ...... and YES!! ..... on a nice sunny day the island is as nice as it looks on the TV.

Yes count me in, love the closed road stuff and usually get to Scarborough. Yes I agree with Tim in that itv4 do a great job of the coverage even to the point of not talking over some of the on board shots and you can hear the punishment some of the bikes go thro, brilliant stuff. Just one other thing, was it you manxie that snuck into the tyco tent and sabotaged guy martins bike?? LOL.  Regards Michael

I always watch and find it excellent...proper roads based grass roots motor sport-unpretentious-unlike like other mot(o gp(F1)..up their own back sides and dominated by money and how they all look!!

Well, last day of the TT tomorrow, it`s been a hectic week on the roads and can`t believe it`s nearly all over for another year  Still got the Manx to look forward too at the end of August, which I must admit is more my cup of tea (not Guy Martin`s Grrrr  ) classic bikes, classic noises and best of all the odd waft of Castrol R  A little more sedate on the roads than the TT. Look forward to it .....

Went to the Manx two years ago. Best week on a bike i've ever had. It took me over two hours just to walk round the car park at Jurby on the sunday. Just might have to go over again this year

Great to hear it!! I only live around the corner from Jurby, a village called Andreas, and every year since they`ve started the Jurby day, I`ve had something on so never been  My mate usually has a couple of bikes in the Italian Tent on display. Hopefully make it this year!!

Good old McGuinness, knew he still had it in him. Well done that man,132mph lap not bad for an old'ish geezer eh. Shame Guy Martin did,nt fair a little better tho, wud have been nice if he,d got on the podium. Bet ya well gutted eh manxie ??
