Well we had the insurance here, good news and bad, They say that the damage to the outside is wear and tear, but the inside is storm damage......work that one out! so we are going to have to find half the money for the repairs.
My workshop survived despite being flooded multiple times, but I had a guy out to test the electrics and tools, only the arc welder and drill failed, so thats up and running again.
The jet engine I was restoring, will need another full rebuild (waste of a years work)
My XBR is still months behind, the new tank and seat are nearly finished, but I have still not sent the head off to have the fins welded on, and it hasn't had the frame respray and rebuild, Its been a very busy winter keeping the water at bay, so I have had almost no free time.
I already have 2 bikes in for repair, I just finished rebuilding and restoring a little TS50 (The one owned by the lad which he claimed was being damaged while he was at work, read one of my older posts)
and now his sisters GPz500s which she gave to her friend to fix and respray, and he has totally ruined it, with a matt black paint job even over the stickers, So strip that off and give it a decent respray and make some minor repairs.
