I was going to tell all about the Captain Haddock style messages interspersed in this thread, but suffice to say that it all stems from a comment Jethro made this weekend.
As for Tens, yep, if you are pointing a bike at anything gnarly you don't need the engine getting in the way if you crash it... and it helps if the whole thing weighs as little as possible.
CB500s? Well they are pretty light and very crashable too. I did a mini stationary turn on one this weekend, planting a boot on the deck, standing up off the bike and letting the spinning rear wheel turn the bike.
