Having never tried one of these I would be worried that if you had to brake hard and were not completley straight that it would push you and make the rear wheel skid out more so in the wet.
Heavy bike with a pillion maybe OK.

Basically as with everything....you ride accordingly.
You do have to be careful of how you load it,weight bias,as you would with any trailer.
Dont do as I did and carry far too much and too heavy.
Found mine great on A roads and Motorways.Could get upto 90mph with out much bother.
But when loaded and on twisty roads and roundabouts I did find it interesting to say the least.
But not enough to put me off.
Still got my BMW 80/100GS tow Bar and the home made trailer is waiting to be tried out behind my outfit.
Have had it behind a Trike and managed to touch a ton on the way to Builth Wells one year chasing a GSXR and had no bother
