Actually allowing for the fact one cannot see how he's mounted it, the fairing is very nice - not so fussed on the colour scheme, bit too Gxer for me.

An exercise is questionable style over substance.

Bitch? well it has been said  :-*

And yes I am anorak and proud of it!!!  ;D Anyone got a problem with that you can step outside to the RANT section....
 >:(

Yeah.  And get this:  (for those not in the know, the Grimeca caliper has a terrible reputation for being poor quality and with no feel)

Put Skorp back on the road about 2 weeks ago.  front caliper was a bit sticky after lack of use.  So I stripped it.  The original pistons were a bit dirty (crudded up), but cleaned up ok.  Local bike shop could only match the large seals, not the small ones.  But they weren't too bad, so they went back in, with new pads.

The pistons were absolutely perfect.  After 9,000 miles.  And the pads gave me 9000 miles too.  I'm ok with that!  I reckon the brake isnt too bad (if its looked after...).  I know some learned men have slated it.  I stripped the brake, expecting to chuck it away and put a Brembo Gold on it, from an SZR or Aprilia.  But that would not have been a good use of funds- its fine!

The clutch had just started to slip (when I put it off the road).  I forgot about that, but was quickly reminded of it giving it reasonably big handfuls.  But I got 9,000 miles from that too!

So I'm not grumbling too much.

cheers

Aye Andy,

Clutch!  ??? Old oil + layoff. Change oil and or wash plates in brake cleaner, check specs afore re-assembling. ;)

Brakes ??? "Who needs 'em? I race!"  ;D

Cheeky B****r!

Oh!  Sorry!  Yeah, thar she be:

Not Classically beautiful, I know!  Recently altered the rear light ("fit n forget" LED unit failed!), and rather than USD MZ bars she now has ?TZR ?KR1S clip ons.  Still ugly, still a wee bit loud (but not a bark, a nice soft "doof-doof-doof")

Did you change your caliper?

cheers

Changed the caliper in the front - haven't found a MC cheap enough as yet. but I changed the piston in the rear which has improved things. Still waiting on Bill for the offset and the return of my sprocket carrier, nearly a year now.

what's the can you have there?
