The lad I know that had one had a replacement engine...cant remember what fell apart inside.
But he was given a jacket by Laverda....truly Seventies looking thing...the jacket.

Pete's gearbox threw itself on its own sword at a pathetically low mileage . He carried on riding it but avoided top I think.Looked and sounded superb mind .

You must go and look at it. Its a work of art and ahead of its time. But as usaual it never reached production.
