Andy, thanks for the site plug!
If you are doing Donington please come along and say hi... I would love to offer you any advice I can from machine set up to riding techniques.
It was a shame for Peds, it is a part of racing that sometimes happens. No one goes out on track with the intention of knocking anyone off, over the years I have come into contact with other riders whether you are passing or being passed.
Mostly you both manage to stay upright but the odd time one of you comes unstuck, I've had both happen to me and at the time you might get a bit agitated but the reality is - accidents happen!
I find that it's essential to with slower riders to 'cut them some slack' when passing; however even with the best laid plans. sometime things go wrong!
The main cause is a speed differential between riders hence the reason why the race organisers in Europe tend to run a qualifying maxima for safety; however saying that - it can happen with riders lapping at the same pace and they just get tangled up together.
Sorry to drone on......
Cheers, Bloke. (Gordon's Dad!)
