having bought a SZR recently all was going well until last week, after stopping and tuning the engine off I heard a fizz and a puff of steam from the exhaust. on further inspection I noticed a small drop of coolant coming from a hole in the bottom of the water pump. having done a search on the web I have found that the seal on the water pump side is suspect. What i'd like to know is if any other yamaha water pump seals will fit? the seal is only listed as part of the water pump housing for the the SZR. Any body had experience with this problem?
