Aye AndyM,
That site that 'bmhor' has stuck up for you confirms my experience when working in the area and looking for digs. So long as your prepared to 'muck in', people will fit you in and look after you. You might also try the Bailey Mill on the English sideof the Border, on the Kershope to Newcastleton road. It use to be run by Ian and Pamela Copeland, but I'm not sure if they or the business are still there.
This weekends weather looks a bit ferocious and knowing the forest roads etc. it should be a good bash for the hillrally boys. Some of those 1 off V8 Rover powered 4X4 specials make WRC look like F1, TAME. Especially when flying off the odd crag or ploughing through a bit of deep peat. The hillrally event round the Ochill and Perthshire is also good for a view and maybe a bit warmer!
Have a safe weekend.
Cheers, Bill
