Pipe from sump

I whipped the tank off the new Goose to give her the once over, and on replacement, I've noticed a rubber pipe, which extends up from the sump then between the frame and stops just under the front of the petrol tank. Normally I would assume this was some kind of breather, but aside from feeling air pressure througfh it when she's running, the pipe has a clip at the top, indicating it should really be on a nipple somewhere. I've looked and looked, but can't see anywhere obvious - anyone any genius ideas? I'm paranoid as hell now. Especially since she rode home fine, but on a ride out this evening, I lost the mirror glass and the petrol pipe popped off :(

"They all do that Sir"

No idea on the pipe though - does it go to the airbox and been missrouted in the past?

Would appear that your hose is a breather.

I hope this helps.
