gareth, if you are needing other bikes, i can fetch another in the van, one of the bsas or perhaps even my tuned 75mph honda step thru? it will fit in with the matchless spacewise so if you need it, let me know. how are you sending tickets out? do you want my address? im away to scotland this weekend for a week but will be back the following week, im planning to run down to stafford on friday morning if only so i can have the experience of not being on the last minute rushing up to beat the closing doors on friday evening for a change!

That would be good of you could bring another bike - entirely up to you - i do like the sound of  75mph step thru!!!!
Can you PM your address and i will send them out, when they arrive.

Well that’s almost a unanimous vote John. Well two of us at least like the sound of you bringing the tuned step through 😉...

Evening Gareth.. I’ll be bringing the XBR tracker, matte red tank with black stripe, matte black seat, no reg plate on at the moment. If you require the frame number just let me know and I’ll forward it on to you asap.
Cheers, Michael

and 1987 harris matchless g80 500cc thats believed to be the earliest harris matchless in the world, being the second one ever built (the first one went to the usa and has disappeared) it was delivered from harris to the commanding officer of the royal signals corps white helmets motorcycle display team, and has been partly restored and is undergoing further improvement work.

Hello Gareth
I will be bringing my XBR but not sure which one yet. Do you need any more details?
Also, I would like to join the Saturday night trip to the pub please.
Many thanks for organising this again.
Cheers
Richard

its a pretty muted duff duff sound tbh. remember these were a production bike so needed to get through the same c+u regs as any production bike, so proper lights, reflectors, silencer, all the stuff that you need to make a production run rather than a one off. so its a big stock exhaust made aparently by lafranconi??  and its more like the sound of a stock xbr than a thundering  classic brit single.
