Cheers for the link Matt, I absolutely love the jap engines. Takes me right back to watching the speedway in Bradford back in the 70’s.... oh the smell 😁 👍

I think the JAP engine is one of the most beautiful engines ever made and so quintessentially British. I was offered an ex-speedway JAP motor back in the 80s by Dennis Rogers a well known Nottingham motorcycle breaker (and handy pilot of his red Morgan called The Wandering Blob) for about twenty quid. Sadly and to my eternal regret I turned it down.

Actually coming to think about it Dennis always claimed he was the wandering blob not the Morgan!
