a yeah just happy and lucky to have a new bike ,I think its nearly 40 years since I had anew bike wow time flies so in another 40 years time I will get another new bike  ::) tommy
Totally get that!New bikes for me are few and far between as well.Had a Fizzie at 16 in '73,Z750 twin in '76 at 18 on HP with mother signing as guarantor because I was in 6th Form, GS1000 at 20 in '78 and then a Thundercat at 40 in '97 followed by a Guzzi 1100 Griso at 50 in 2007-then the Enfield last year belated for 60th!Always feel lucky to have a new  bike no PO has messed about with although I also love getting a good second hand bargain!

Guzzi Griso? Lovely! Tell me more...What do you want to know Matt? They were flogging off the 2 valve 1100s when the 4 valve 1200's came out. I traded in a 1100 Sport which had poor fuel injection. The 4  valvers turned out to have "issues". The 1100 Griso was a great bike but for me on the heavy side so I reluctantly sold it after not many miles-can't remember what I got afterwards. A dealer came up from Silverstone and gave me cash as it was virtually brand new.
