I did see this on the MCN website and thought it looked interesting. I think the Enfield factory are slowly modernising away from the crap that is deemed good enough for the home market and more towards European standards of expectation. The Himalayan started the process I think.
This can only be a good thing as there are aspects of The Mighty Enfield (2016 Bullet) which are good, e.g. the clutch is a nicely made and robust unit. However the frame is shocking as I've mentioned before and their attitude to standardisation is utter shit.
Be nice to think they could do a Skoda, as long as they don't go crazy on the prices.
