From the Bike Shed;

2x Continental GT650 - one by Les Harris, who gives a tour. Plus a Himalayan with added turbo.

turbo seems to have been fitted for the sake of being able to say they had a turbo on it. so far from the engine i think it would suffer from lag like hell. not really my cup of teea, seems to be built to appeal to people who like brown leather seats, exhaust wrap and henry cole flat caps....

Verbal diarrhoea from RocketGarage when describing the Himalayan. "The Royal Enfield’s stand at London’s 2019 ‘Bike Shed Show’ included a modified Himalayan, labelled as MJR Roach, that packs a turbocharger and has been designed to survive anything. The perfectly customized Royal Enfield Himalayan MJR Roach features rugged styling and premium hardware that gives it a unique and distinctive look." And every further paragraph continues in the same vein.  :(  Makes you want to bowf! :(

If you can stomach the nonsense prosing and wish too view more images, here is the link to RocketGarage: "Himalayan_MJR_Roach"

Off to wrestle with coloured spaghetti of my own making!  ;)

Bill.... in the immortal words of Michael winner in that old car insurance advert on tv... calm down dear, calm down. 😁...... seriously mate, it really isn't worth getting so worked up over what is obviously just complete and utter B/S. I personally try and let the vast majority of the verbal diarrhoea go in one lug ole and out the other. Just get out mate and ride whenever ya can and just enjoy being out. Now go and sample a decent single malt 🥃🥃🥃 (or three) ... cheers, Michael

Aye Michael,

I'm no that incensed and went out for a wee walk before coming back to the garage and wrestling with the spaghetti. Yesterday we had a 100 mile canter through Fife to Elie for a chill and return by another byeway route. Weather doesn't look too bad for this weekend and maybe go for another canter out and about.

So, all the best and slainte!

Good man... we'll be up Moffat again at the beginning of August. If you fancy meeting up again? Be good to see you again, hopefully gain a little more of your local roads knowledge. All the best and savour that single malt 👍🥃🥃🥃.. (or three😉) .. cheers, Michael
