Left unattended

SWMBO off on hols for a week, so.......

Tank in sink covered in paint stripper

And....

Dishwasher stacked correctly, ie, from back to front with dirty surfaces pointing downwards.

see what John Renwick has taken that vincent engine out to ....... 1650CC !!! amazing, and still using standard bottom end bearings albeit with extra bracing inside the casings ....
Do you remember Brian Chapman and his vincent comet 'mighty mouse' ? .... bloody fantastic, he used to blow away machines 3 times the size on drag strips,
i remember seeing him at snetterton (when they ran drag racing on the norwich straight), and chatting to him in the pits, and him saying the bottom end was completely standard and had been for 3 years....  wonderful

I work at a climbing wall. We have a dishwasher, but it never sees a dish.

We wash the climbing holds in it!! Lots of walls do it, it's way cheaper than soaking/washing by hand.

(70 degrees Intensive seems to do it)
XBR500,  FT500 (USA reg still but now starts/runs nicely!)
non-thumpers CX500EC, NTV650P
