SACU_road_race_calendar_2019Set up day is Friday, practise on Saturday morning, racing/parades Saturday afternoon, short practise Sunday morning followed by racing and racing/parades Sunday afternoon. The weather can be cool, windy and wet, or hot and windy that'll take the skin off your face like a blowtorch. Usually, very friendly and camping is adjacent to the paddock on grass (plenty of room); as this is part of an ex-WWI and WWII airfield (
Wikipedia_East_Fortune_airfield). You can wander the paddock at all times and have the craic. Usually a strong contingent from the NE Motorcycle Racing Club attend and a goodly number of sidecars.
Scottish Museum of Flight and a large boot sale (Sunday) are adjacent, along with a microlight airfield, if the bikes get boring or the weather postpones racing.
