Pegaso 650...spares availability?
« on: January 22, 2019, 08:59:28 AM »
Hi folks!

Pegaso 650 up for sale near me for a grand (2002, 33k miles, and looks not bad). A long while ago, I quite fancied one (and my mate working for Aprilia said it was the only model that never returned to them!).

But many years later, what will the spares situation be like? Other bikes all Hondas so easy peasy spares.

It's also the "Cube" variant, wossat then?

Any thoughts from the hive?

pretty sure they used a rotax engine so motor spares wont be a problem as at the time several european makers used variants of the same rotax lump, bmw funduros were rotax as were some ccms,

Cheers John - I believe that's true, indeed I read somewhere they were made in the same factory as Funduros. But I'm not sure which years - at other times, there was a Yanaha 5-valve engine, and latest Pegasos were XT660 engine. But I don't know which, when!

As for brake disks, cables, gaskets, etc?     Possibly I'm worrying about nowt!
