Buell Blast

A bit of a rarity and something very different - 3,800 miles and 2500 euros. Apparently Erik Buell wasn't a fan!!

Gearing looks pretty low judging by the size of the rear pulley

Definitely different.... once test rode a buell, the X1 lightning if I remember correctly. Nice thing but at the time I was riding triumph speed triples and the handling by comparison just wasn't sharp enough for what I personally wanted. I'd defo have one now tho... cheers, Michael

Half a Harley, learner bikes in the US.  Still hanker after a Buell XB9.

There was a Buell Lightening at the local Sunday meet. I was amazed at how compact it was. Loved the silencer location and huge, rim-mounted brake discs.

Yes that's the one I test ride Matt... like I say lovely bike, I just needed something a tad "sharper " at the time. I once got talking to a guy who owned one and had an aftermarket zorst system on it... sounded absolutely brilliant.😁
