Shiny XBR bits

If any of you XBR owners ever fancied the chrome chainguard off the GB, but were deterred by the cost, there is a cheaper alternative.

The 400/4 chainguard shares the same fixing point centres as the XBR guard and can be made to fit without too much hassle. Should be quite easy to find one at the right price too.

And what's more, this weekend I will be trying out a 400/4 rear hub as a spoked replacement for the XBR item. The only drawback is the rudimentary cush drive compared to the XBR's mass of rubber.

If you feel the need to see if a T500 rear wheel will do the job - I seem to have a couple spare - I could have sworn that they were fronts but both have sprocket carriers..
