I wouldn't give that much for the whole so**ing bike. The VJMC and their 'chromo-sexual' ilk have a lot to answer for!

They're up to £621 and still 6 days to go! I could sell the contents of my garage and not raise that amount. Do you reckon they'll make £1000?

Whats all this paypal for non uk purchasers only ploy! I'd want to pay by paypal not by a cheque its much safer for the purchaser. Not that I'd pay that much for a pair of silencers anyway.

Recently there was an Auction near where I live and a lot of motorcycles and other stuff had been badly damaged by the fire, the incomplete remains of a Brough Superior went for £32,000 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

600 notes, you could probally get some chinese sweatshop to knock up a repo of the whole bike for that much...
Madness, I think the crowd everyone cursed for putting up brit prices, has well and truly moved onto old japs now. And to think I had so much fun thrashing all those cb350g5's and yds7's etc that were worth a tenner tops. I remember giving a black bomber away cos the engine was seized solid and lived in a bucket in kit form...

On the other hand, my mate who's been hoarding since the 80's must be rubbing his hands in glee. I wonder what his original never touched suzuki samurai is worth now...

hey you are talking about a rare pair of original silencers from a bike thats nearly 40 years out of production
have seen worth.....
and its a ebay auction , it needs only 2 bidders bidding against each other and some people are obsessed
with original parts on their vehicles ,these peeps will possibly pay any price to get the new orig parts
but the reserve isn`t met yet so the seller knows how rare they are

I sold some NOS Yamaha XS1100 bits for a mate last year and got my arms bid off. There are some serious jap bike restorers out there.

Remember the days when most of us could have (with an effort) afforded a Vincent Comet? :(
