It happened again, won bike of the year at the East Dorset MAG, bike show, so pleased my struggles building the bike were not in vain. I already have a new winter project though, my 2 into 1 downpipes and single silencer are not sufficiant to silence the beast without seriously restricting the flow, it is still cringingly loud even with the quiet baffels fitted. Its new downpipes and twin silencers next year, assuming I can afford them

or maybe someone is interested in a swap. I have heard that next year there is going to be a blitz on noisy exhausts by the police and the MOT will be stricter on noise levels

Ps... well done on your trophies, like you say just helps making all those late nights in the garage/shed a bit more worth while eh 👍

Evening Joolz... I have a high level titanium "Austin racing " exhaust on the ktm390. Very, very loud but it has improved the bike quite a lot. Certainly as far as tractability is concerned, they claim a three bhp improvement but that isn't why I bought it. I bought it because it was just a bit different to the run of the mill "end cans" but like I say vast improvement over the standard system..cheers, Michael

I won a little trophy for my g3ls being best in show on Sunday, my brother in law got the runner up spot for his g3,
did i mention we were the only bikes there ?
