SteveH & GDPR
« on: May 16, 2018, 08:12:41 PM »
As I can't reply to your GDPR post Steve, I've opened this as a means of thanking you for your continued support of the TC website, and the work you put in behind the scenes to keep the show on the road. It is very much appreciated.
Should it come down to subs to keep the wheels on the waggon.... I don't see this as a problem, I for one would be more than happy to subscribe, whether we do it on a voluntary basis, or reintroduce membership fees, is, as you say  a debate for another day...

If it comes to needing funds to keep the website going I would certainly be happy to contribute.

Yes me too, so long as it doesn't exceed £1 a year 🤣🤣🤣.
Seriously, I would be glad to divvy up a few quid a month to keep site going. 💷💷
Cheers, Michael

That GDPR post seems a very sensible way of dealing with the issue - well done Steve.

Like others, I do appreciate this forum and a small contribution would not be a problem.

Yes, Thanks for all the work you do behind the scenes to keep this great little forum going. I too would be happy to contribute a few sheckles, if needs be. Or, we can get some more merchandise done to help funds  ;)

Thank you Steve - nice solution!

Appreciate what a PITA GDPR is for small organisations. Hopefully we will all benefit from less spam, or will it just come from outside EU?

Thanks for your hard work, happy to pay subs, or perhaps press a Paypal Donate button now and then (might be less paperwork just to have that as an honesty box?).

Anyway, ta, well-done.

I was very pleased to meet another legend of the TC at the weekend, when he called into the XT Rally at Baskerville Hall. Furrie John, who I had know idea was our site moderator! He reckoned he deals with three or four new enquiries on the site every week, and agreed that the TC continues to be one of the most friendly and helpful forums out there, which I also agree   :)
