Exhaust advice please?
« on: January 23, 2018, 07:14:54 PM »
This is probably a silly question but .........

I`m thinking of changing the end can on the Skorp. I don`t want to mess with the carb / jets so my question is, is there a nice end can that can be fitted in this situation? (its too quiet!!)

Is there a difference in cans for a single cylinder as opposed to a multi cylinder bike?  :-[  :-\  ???

Thanks, Steve.

Bill Jurgenson will write at length on this one and doesn't believe there to be a better alternative to the original. There is a commonly available Polish alternative on eBay right now that I didn't get on with but others do. Very loud, well made. Mine didn't fit the Sport well but it should fit a Traveller.

Not much about for the Skorpions aftermarket wise these days.

Thats the one.

Caveat emptor, you may like it.

They tried to bribe me with 20 euros to improve my feedback.

Thanks.

I`ve not ridden the bike yet, weather`s a bit poor, so I`ll see how the standard exhaust is before I make any decisions on changing it. I`ve found a blog by Bill Jurgenson who seems to know his stuff alright, but not managed to find the write up he did about the exhaust yet? I`ll keep looking.

Thanks again for your input, cheers, Steve.
