Talk about jumping on band wagons! Dropping the Confederate name because African Americans don't find it appealing and may be replacing all those 65 year old white Chicago dentists as prime buyers of cruisers that cost the same as a house. Using the Curtis name to get the man-bunned, waxed mustachiod, lumberjack shirt wearers on board. Going electric so Californian plastic surgeons and owners of chains of kale juice bars can claim their leisure vehicles are green. One imagines they do a good line in pre-ripped tee-shirts, fake coal scuttle helmets and branded key chains? I wonder if the get back whip will be replaced with a phone app that texts the other driver in a constructive, non-confrontational manner?
Marketing that smart makes me want to run away in case I'm not on the list next time they change direction. Not that it matters of course, if I had the cash I'd buy petrol and ferry tickets.
