No worries about rust I guess, just woodworm. Running on algae oil too, I remember years ago about ideas to grow algae in deserts and use them for fuel, have heard nothing about it since though, until now.

Algae is a type of biofuel. The idea of getting carbon dioxide etc. out of the air and making a fuel at the same time sounds good but you have to look at the bigger picture. Do you want the desert covered in a layer of bio-engineered green slime? How do you know it won't decide it likes digesting wild haggis when accidentally released in the upper lowlands?

By the time you've done the studies you may well wish you'd just decided to build a nuclear power station.
