did you buy any shoes though:? winfields of haslingden used to be a carpet and shoe store. (i remember their radio ad from the 1980s, "where do you go for carpets, where do you go for shoes, whinfields of haslingden you just cant lose").

Evening chaps, I live about 10mins from said winfields. Go a few times a year to buy my work CAT boots... yes the bike collection is very good isn't it, it's a tad smaller than it used to be be still pretty impressive non the least and defo worth a visit if your ever in the area. No entry fee either.
Oh and unfortunately I can't offer anyone a free bed for the nite, unlike Johnr, However the kettle is ALWAYS on and garage door is (almost) ALWAYS open and bike chiddy chat always on the menu.
Cheers, Michael

I love places like this, camping and outdoor stuff AND motorbikes  :)
Where is Haslingdene? Ok, just googled it, and its not that far from a  Lancashire village which bares my surname, the huge metropolis that is Entwistle  ;)
