big hand for the gaffer
« on: April 23, 2017, 09:20:33 PM »
just a quick post to congratulate graham, (onepot) for completing the london marathon in under 4 hours today, even making a brief appearance photobombing brendon foster, (in a blink and you miss him way). that a hell of an achievement, and tbh, 27 and a bit miles in under 4 hours is probably pretty good going in central london in a motor vehicle, let alone on foot.

Yes well done , although I wonder why people put themselves through that , those thoughts come from my perspective as someone who couldn't even walk 7 miles let alone run 27.

I suppose it's like wondering why people would sit on motorcycles getting cold & wet when they could be warm and snug in a car......

But I have to say that marathon running (or indeed most exercise other than a gentle pushbike ride to a pub) is not at all my idea of fun.

Well done GC  :)

Did someone tell him there was a certain type of Gilera up for sale only 27 miles away for the price of a seized XBR?
