my mates mrs had one. it was pretty enough, styled like the original 400/4 (iirc its called a 400 super 4) it was a fab little thing, revvy and flickable like the original, only moreso, and with typicly honda build quality. she really rated it and they only sold it after the kids came along and she never rode it. as you say, the original ones are nice classics but time has moved on and they arent practical for everyday use in modern traffic, particularly the terrible front brake! but the more recent ones that came in as greys in the 1990s are grand wee things, and easily capable of holding their own against modern traffic.
