Lovely AJ Tim, and I recognise the XBR from eBay. Health to use, and, as we say here, keep her between the hedges  :)

Today I fettled at the Falcone, after its recent tour of Wales and southern England. Mostly involved a good clean, and some welding/bodging of broken, due to vibration, brackets. Had no mechanical hiccups on the whole 1500 mile trip, but I think its up for sale now  :)

Took the XBR for its first run since purchase - jeez but it is cramped however it romped up the hills that my old AJS needed to change down to (slowly) climb.

The bottom line, I need to go on a comprehensive diet in order to enjoy this bike.

Nice looking job spooky, spot on!  8) "What did I do with my bike today?" .... sold it, not the GB but the Skorp  :( Sorry to see it go but it`s gone to a collector (52 bikes) and he plans on restoring it. Glad it`s stayed on the island.  :)

Great wee run today on the RE with a mixed bunch of VMCC, REOC, and 30s Club, to the Ulster Aviation Society, for a guided tour of their many projects/aircraft of all shapes and sizes. OK, its not Cosford, but considering the whole thing is done by a handful of volunteers, its well impressive  :)

Sold the XBR after less than one week, my oppo made an unrefusable offer and he is chuffed.

Its replacement arrived on Friday evening, I expected a slow, plodding wheezemobil, instead I bought a lithe '02 500 ES Bullet that has lots of grunt and is comfy. No idea what modifications have been embodied by a previous owner but it romps up the Dorset hills, my only contribution is a Mk1 930 Concentric.

Started modifying a (spare) seat for my CB400 to allow a natural bend for my knees:

Great work and great bikes guys  :) Welcome Tim, to the RE world. I too have a 2002 Bullet, which is slow, but great fun, and gets used more than any other bike I've owned, for a long time  ;)
