Hee hee I Like it,  :) :) sounds like I need to swing my leg over a bike again. Really starting to miss the buzz after one year lay off.

When do you think you'll be healed up enough for this to happen?

To be honest Matt I could probably ride now but my elbow is still giving me some serious grief from time to time, even riding a push bike is painful so was going to wait until next spring. Hopefully give a bit more time for the soft tissue to heal better and build up some more strength generally in my arm. Give it another 6 or 7 months and I'm sure I'll be back riding....cheers, Michael

Hi Tim, yes mate it certainly has. I was told by the surgeon who sorted my arm for me that'd be 18months before I started to "feel normal " again. At the time I kindda thought (in my ignorance) "yeah right, I'll be sorted in 6 months " oh how wrong I was and oh how right he's been. All credit to him tho as my arm is virtually back to normal now. Roll on next spring I say....and again thanks to all that showed their support for me when I was in a pretty "dark place"....cheers all....Michael

Is this right? A sensible person on the TC forum? How can this be? All the best to you, I'm sure by taking a sensible approach you will be avoiding complications in years to come.

Was being nosey earlier, and looked into the registration number. Appears it was issued in Shrewsbury, so she's a Shropshire bike, originally.

The GN has a lovely torquey little 4 stroke engine so you should be ok!   I always though the engine in a  neat little 125 Trials/trail rolling chassis would make a cracking little off roader...only drawback was the lack of a kicker on the GN engine  :(

It has gone and an XBR500 will replace it.

The AJS was fine but was causing problem with my knee and hip, the XBR has an electric foot.

Lovely AJS, but I don't think you'll be disappointed with the XBR, they are a cracking little bike!
