Matt, yes mate I would have to agree with both Tim and Steve about the seat issue, however should you ever wish to change it I do a nice line in cafe racer seat humps....or I could fashion you one up to suit your taste sir

Cheers Michael
Had this on my mind last night and it obviously spawned a bit of a nightmare! I was at my 50th party and people were laughing and pointing in my direction, saying my stomach could do with flattening. When I looked down, I saw my XBR seat where my stomach should have been. Then, the scene changed to my garage where my wife was bashing me over the head with Michael's seat, saying, "You might have this, but you'll get no hump from me until your 60th!"
I blame the absinthe and cheese just before bedtime!
So now I'm wondering if getting a seat hump would be possible, given my shortened subframe. Here's a pic of the base which hooks in as standard at the front and fixes with a captive bolt with knurled, hand tightening head towards the rear. I must say, I am impressed at how easy it is for the bolt to find its home first time, every time the seat goes on. When I first saw the set up, I thought it might take some aligning, but it's bish bash bosh!

What do you think, Michael? Would you be able to retain the base and put a hump on in place of the current, strange 2:4 ish set up?
