Exactly, what would you do with it, as it would be too good to use  :-\
Unless you are getting it for humble money and selling on, or to keep as an "investment", or family airloom. IMHO, we're far better off with nice, but well used XBRs. The GBs are nice to look at, but I don't covet one, unless its cheap ;)

Oh dear Pete, not good mate. One can never have to much of a misspent youth  :) :). Seen quite a few decent rock bands too the loudest by far was Motörhead back in 1980/81...so loud my ears were ringing for a week....ohh, those were the daze.....

Yep, I saw Motorhead on that tour too. Definitely the loudest concert I ever saw!

Eh up Pete, I was lucky enough to get tickets to the AC/DC concert at wembley last July, fourth time I,ve seen them and they were absolutely brilliant, as always. The first time I saw them again would have been 1981 at queens hall in Leeds....as noddy holder used to say....keep on a rockin :) :)
Cheers...Michael

Ps...sorry Steve if I/we have encroached on to your thread. My apologies certainly wasn't intentional.
Just the two things in life that still make me feel good. BIKES and heavy ROCK music. Hence it doesn't take much for me to get side tracked from one to the other....cheers Michael

Yes, sorry for going off at a bit of a tangent, AND PLEASE REMEMBER, YOU HAVE TO SHOUT, I'M GOING A BIT DEAF!

For some reason, I managed to miss AC/DC back in the day but would still like to see them. I'm put off most concerts these days because of the cost, but there are some great new heavy rock/blues bands around and it doesn't cost as much to see them.  ;)

Yep, unknown bands in small venues, for not much money. Its the way forward for us oldies. Saying that, I can't remember the last time I went to see a live band. Living in the sticks doesnt help  :-\
