Hi there Steve D and those of you staying at Llanfairfechan at Platts Farm Bunkhouse on Thursday 29 April 2016, has any firm decision been made on the ferry crossing we are taking from Holyhead?? Would like to book the crossing sooner rather than later. Cheers guys. Cliff

Ferry booked. I went through Nutt travel as suggested. I don't get it  - how is a travel agent cheaper than booking direct with Stenna ? Anyway I'll be coming on my TDM as I'm not able to sort the XT for the trip. With the luck I've had with my bikes recently the TDM will only be running on one cylinder when I get there - so still a thumper.
Happy Days.

Its a good question Oz. All I know is that anyone involved with motorcycles or any Motorsport use Nutt Travel, which is a very well respected local family business. It has to be because of the volume of sales with the ferry companies, they can strike good deals.
Billy Nutt, the boss, used to be the main man behind the NW200, the biggest spectator sporting event in Ireland, and his son Marty Nutt is a bike racer, so the family are engrained in our local bike scene  ;)

Ferry booked via Nutt Travel. As I have mentioned previously after the gathering, I plan to head off down the Wild Atlantic Way for the rest of the week, with a view to sailing back via Rosslaire to Fishguard. Seems too good an opportunity to miss already being in the Emerald Isle and not having been over to Ireland for many years. So I am wondering if anybody fancies joining me for a few days heading south from the starting point in County Donegal? As Timbo says it is should be a great ride if the weather is reasonably kind. Cheers Cliff

So after last years Friday night "food from the chippy in Draperstown fiasco", as in, the food was sh***, we will have simple bar food on this year on the Friday night, at cheap money  :) Food on the Saturday evening, will be, the usual excellent fare, as per usual  :)

Hi Tim, I fancy watching some of the racing on Saturday - but with the roads closing from 10 till late does that mean you're there for the duration or can you catch a few hours and head on ?

No, you can get to the racing when roads close. There will be the option of going to the racing for the full day, or going on a run for a few hours, then watch in afternoon, or, stay out on a longer run for most of the day. So everyone is happy  ;)
I will make sure I get a full race programme beforehand, so peeps can have a look at the schedule, though weather sometimes can cause them to change it.
