Nice day out with Crazyfrog
« on: September 21, 2015, 04:42:03 PM »
Hi Guys

I was lucky enough to be invited by Crazyfrog to go on a memorial bike run yesterday with his clubmates from the Kings Norton Motorcycle Club. I found an article about a BSA B33 based thumper special in an old bike mag and asked on this forum if anyone knew anything about it. Turns out the KNMCC still have it as it was originally built by one of their members who sadly died. They take it out once a year in his memory and that was yesterday.

What a great day. Really nice blokes who are just into their bikes and riding them. A very varied collection of machines, BMWs old and new, Royal Enfield, Harleys, modern Japs, older Japs and of course Crazyfrog's bright yellow SLR650.

Thanks mate for a proper biking day and please say thanks to your clubmates for being so cool.

Ian

Sorry I forgot that detail. We started off in Kings Heath and then went to Ludlow for a photo stop. At this point I left the run as I needed to get back home so I'm not sure where exactly they ended up.

Nice roads in the West Midlands that I've not ridden before is all I can really remember.
