MGP !!!!

Not long now `til the first practice for this years Manx... Saturday I think? .... and STILL NOT got a bike    There is a little CB250RS locally but the front end`s of it at the moment due to forks being re-chromed. Tank needs a bit of paint but a nice little bike on the whole. I was hoping to buy it ready for MGP week but not looking to good at the mo    Unless someone is coming over in a van with space for a bike then I can widen my search

Going in the Berlingo, but unfortuneately full with bike, two large dogs, and all camping gear. Oh, and Alison as well of course

I was listening to Manx Radio this morning and sadly, the weather forecast for the MGP doesn`t look that great  I would suggest to bring your waterproofs. Most of you will probably know this but just a little friendly advice.....the police are already out with their speed guns  The last two Saturdays I`ve seen bikes stopped for speeding (I don`t know if they were local riders or visitors?) So where there are speed limits, try to stick to them. Where you see the "end of speed limit" sign (white coloured circle with a black diagonal line through it) there is NO speed limit. There is usually unmarked police bikes about too (sports bikes). Those of you visiting the island in the next fortnight, please ride carefully, have a safe one and most of all...ENJOY

Yes, sorry I didn't get to meet up with any fellow Thumpeteers over the week, my phone wouldn't work, even with a Manx sim card. I thoroughly recommend the Classic TT and Manx. There is just so much to see everywhere you go on the island
