Beezumph and XBRs
« on: August 16, 2015, 07:58:37 AM »
Hi all

I went to Cadwell Park yesterday (on my SR400 which hasn't sold but I'm actually glad about that) for the Beezumph trackday and saw two XBR 500s that couldn't have been more contrasting. The first was a D plate which wore its 94000 miles with great pride, it looked awesome and had obviously seen a lot of the world judging from the stickers on the panniers. It had a clever top yoke conversion to make using upright 'bars possible which I wish I'd have known about when I had my XBR as it always made my wrists sore.
The second was out on track and was all shiny alloy and special nickel or chrome plated frame and looked great as it went around.
Great day, fabulous bikes, great weather and a lovely ride there and back, perfick.
