Yep, you'll get it sorted eventually. The main thing is, its in your possession  :)  Just been reading about a guy who dispatched one round London in the '80s.

Yep, that's the one. He went through some amount of bikes, and im now an expert in squatting in London in the '80s. The only bit I cant get my head round is the amount of brand new bikes he bought, including a 900SS Ducati when he was 19. Where the hell did he get the money? Were dispatch riders really that well paid  :-\

A bit of useless chatter really but thought I`d just let you`s know I`m still here!! The SP`s resto has ground to a bit of a halt at the moment since any spare time I get, I`m out riding my latest purchase. Just bought a 1971 Moto Guzzi V7 Ambassador, nice bike, good nick, American import about 20yrs ago but man......it`s agricultural. I`ve had a few Harley`s in the past which feel like Limo`s compared to this. Most definitely a new riding experience! When the weather turns I`ll hopefully get a chance to look at the SP although progress has been very slow. Cheers  ;D

The Guzzi sounds a nice bike. Did you get it on the island?

Thanks timbo and yes, I did. The person who imported it lived in the States for a while before moving here and owned it for about 31yrs, then the fella I got it of owned it for about 18 months and was only selling for personal reasons. Very different to ride, right hand...heel toe gear change, one up, three down. Twin leading shoe front brake, which isn`t very good (needs looking at) massive handle bars, panniers, footboards and numbers matching. Apparently an old police bike but no paperwork to prove. I`ve no pictures of it at the moment but will try and get some and post them up  ;)
