Thumper Club Rally 2015

OK, so we had a small do in NI, but what about a proper do in Britain. Site I'm looking at is Platts Farm, Llanfairfechan, north wales, with nice rideouts round Snowdonia. No dates yet. Is anyone interested? Myself and Steve D will get it organised if there's enough interest

Would be great to have a Thumper Club rally but my calendar is pretty much chock a block for this year and am committed to most but would consider the dates if possible.

I was hoping to make it to Hay on Wye for the XT rally but work dropped off so money dried up. I should be back to normal by August though and a thumper meet would fill in a hole in my diary for then or September.

Yep, a really good campsite with loads of local shops and bars.

I have also got an excellent rideout already used for the XT660.com crowd.

We can have a brazier and they have open barns that we can use.

Let's see what interest there is over the next week on the site, then well pick a date. I think it will have to be Sept though to give people enough notice

OK Steve......do we have to ? I'm not too sure about the Brassiere bit myself ;-)

Having thought about it a bit more, and spoken to a couple of others, I can't attend two rally's in Wales in September. So I'm going to go to Petes, Cwmdu as a thumper club trip. Its a great area with a bike show on. Perhaps we could consider Llanfairfechan for a Thumper Rally next year

Ok That's reasonable, let's start promoting the date and see if we can arrange a rideout. Not tooooo far mind 'cos GC might be on his pushbike!

Yep, let's do it next year, and concentrate on Cwmdu for this years rally  Also I plan another Thumper do next spring at the Shepherds Rest. Prob third wknd in April again
