Im not an FB user and seem to have the same opinions as a the anti FB brigade. I agree with Steve with the use it or lose it approach. I know I havent been "around" for a few months but have kept in touch.
I hope you are all enjoying the good weather and riding loads

Well I'm definitely in the Non FB club as I live under the radar and prefere forums.
The thing is, what makes a good forum? I've been on others like the MZ riders and that's not as busy as it used to be but if you go on the Two Stroke Forum then you'll find it's packed with people every night and there seems to be a lot of comical bitchy banter etc and general fun. The lads always meet for mini rides and cafe meets and it's crammed full of pictures.
We all like our different thumpers but maybe we need to meet up in small groups and talk bikes after a blast or two around some nice roads?
 Any other ideas? Eric

Morning all,   Always up for a ride out, so if anyone out there fancies hooning around the Yorkshire dales or the trough of bowland (slower pace, generally smaller roads) just let me know and we,ll see if we can sort something out.  Regards Michael

Evening tigcraft,
The trough of bowland is basically the big piece of land that encompasses the ribble valley, so on a map it,d be right of Lancaster and North of Blackburn. Plenty of small tight twisty roads but very easy to get lost ( without a map) I know the dales much better but generally it gets busier and the roads are slightly bigger (wider) so the speeds can be higher, (which I prefer). See wot you think and let me know if you fancy meeting up at some point.  Best regards Michael .   Ps where are you based?

Actually it sounds good as it's some where  I haven't explored yet. I'm based in Holmfirth bottom of West Yorkshire and at the top edge of the Peak District and also nr saddleworth moor. I did actually buy my bike from nr Blackburn many years ago. Ill pm you over the weekend. Eric

Morning tigcraft
I know holmfirth, I was born and raised in Bradford, then lived in Haworth for a while but moved over the border approx 7 yrs ago and now live in a village called barrowford not to far from burnley.  (near boundary mill). So I,m lucky enough to have both the trough o bowland and the York,s dales pretty much on my door step.  Anyone else fancy a run out at some point?  Regards Michael
