not a thumper, and not a new bike, but new to me,,,,
« on: April 17, 2013, 10:04:37 PM »
every once in a while you hear of someone getting lucky buying a bike at the right price. most of the time its just being in the right time at the right place, like being on a forum for folk obsessed with high performance jap multis when someone  says they want to sell a low performance old brit bike, nobody else was interested, and, well, it was my turn for a spor of good fortune,,,, so its got one cylinder too many, but its not a bad find when you get a matching numbers low miles brit twin with a stack of reciepts and a box of spares,,,,

That is gorgeous. Please don't 'restore' it to look like every other Triumph ever built.

What a good looking bike  :)  Ok the mudguard and headlamp brackets aren't 'right', but let's face it, it's this sort of owner modified nice Brit bike that is the rare classic these days. And it's all the better for it imho.

Cheers
