ot- Bike hire on IoM?

Hello chaps, after a long time away... I'm going to the Isle of Man on holiday in a month or so, with a bunch of Guide Leaders (long story!). It would be nice while we're there to take a run round the circuit on a bike as I've never been there and some of the others have never been on the back of a bike. Anyone know of any bike hire places over there? Or better yet got recommendations? Cheers, Smudge (going there in a cage due to luggage/Smudgeling)

Try Jason Griffiths Motorcycles.
He does hire bikes.....might be pricey mind !
Barry The B@st@rd in the workshop is a hoot.
Jason is a nice bloke ...ex-racer and his father Selwyn.
Selwyn runs Ray Cowles Motorcycles,Pontypool.
Selwyn rode G50s for Ray Cowles and won 1964 Manx amongst others.

Thanks guys, Jason Griffiths is a little too spendy for me just now (starting at £180 a day...) I reckon I'll give this lot a try

£85 a day is more my level and it's a (long) while since I've ridden a boxer

Smudge Are You Still interested in a bike on IOM.
Could always ask my brother if you are still interested not sure what he would say but it wouldn't be a straight NO Probably more likely not taxed or something like that. He is a biker so may be talked around
Sorry not seen your posting been busy at work and traveling to and from Orkney.

Aye Smudge,
If Beemans brother doesn't come up trumps, this is the reply from my friend on the Island, "Yes I.ve heard that the Beezer guy is as good as any, Jason can be a bit pricey.", I hope that gives you the drift!
My regards, Bill.

Aye Smudge,
Additional suggestion from my friend in the Island.
"Another option if they are coming over for more than a week is to buy.
A couple of years ago 14 Argentinians came over hoping to hire bikes and Paul Dedman Performance ( in Ramsey 01624 812390 ) sold them all a second hand bike with a an agreed buy back option ( as long as the bikes weren't bent of course)"
Creative dealership and I passed up the opportunity to buy a Gilera 500 single, with a spare set of wheels for £2.5K in 2001 from there. No spare cash at the time!
I realise Beeman's brother may have already solved the problem.
My regards, Bill.

Thanks Bill, currently awaiting the reply from Mr B Mans brother
Wish I could just take my new toy (not a single so I wont name names lol) but can't justify the extra ferry/fuel cost and saddling swmbo with all the car driving
Never mind, should be a fun week anywhich way
