Aprilia Moto 6.5, Italian factory, French designer, Austrian engine, English owner.  Proper Alies Axis merger  :)

Just managed to find a screen but it's cracked.  Any tips on crack repairs? just a inch or so around one mounting hole

Not too sure if I'm qualified to talk about repairing your cracked mounting hole !  :o

Preparation H might ease the soreness......!?!?   ::)

drill a small hole in the end of the crack to stop it spreading further.

As per johnr and if you are really worried a wee drop of superglue to fill the crack by capillary action. JETHRO! NO!!!!!!  ;) Get the teat back on that bottle of Leapfrog!  ;)

Back to the thread, SRX600 twin shock (Sally), Bros400 (Kat's bike) a V twin I know, but a cracking wee bike, and 4 Italian singles (they don't thump and are all in varying states of rebuild and spares aren't cheap! :o :o :o, but thing are moving again. How much for a widget?? :o :o :o

My regards, Bill.

just out of interest, whilst we are probably predominently jap bike folk, who here has a brit thumper? a european one, even an indian or yank one? ive two brit thumpers in the shed as well as my suzuki project. what have you guys got?

A wideline featherbed ES2 which was my old man's lives in Glasgow.

In London a DR650 (soon to be running again I hope) and an MZ Skorpion have been good to me.

I like all of them!   :)
