I have the CB400SS which is the sister bike with a low exhaust pipe.  I like it as it is very lightweight and the mechanics are straightforward.  There is a Yahoo group (well only me in it so far!) at .....

......where you can find a road test, owners manual etc.   I would also look at the CB400SS as well as the CL version unless you particularly like the high pipes.

I have spoken with a chap who was riding the 400CL and he very much liked it, as long as you are not in a hurry.

Tony from Preston had a lovely CL400 at last years rally in Shropshire. Fastline Motorcycles seem to bring a few of these in. They are loverly!
